Our First Out-of-Towner Visitors

Right after attending the baseball party at Grandma Fergy's we were super thrilled to get out first visitors in our new home Grandma & pa Potts and doggies.  The first night we just relaxed and enjoyed riding bikes and the view of things front our front porch.
The nest day we were excited to take grandma & pa Potts out to the new Scheel's and show them all the fun stuff there is to do like pose with LOTS of random figurines, ride the Ferris wheel, play in the shoot range, catch fish & eat yummy cheap ice cream in the cafe.
After Scheel's we wanted to take them to another Fergy favorite spot the West Jordan Water Conservatory Gardens. We had fun running around the grounds looking and day dreaming of future prize winning landscapes we will have one day at the new house.
It was a pretty warm day so we were pretty will spent after those trips so we came home ate and then make the cute Mother's day gifts for both grandmas. The next morning we went bright at early to drop off Grandma Fergy's love plants (tomatoes) and then gave grandma Potts her cute pot the kiddos made when she came over later that evening for dinner.
On Monday we took the our visitors to the new city creek mall where is was mostly empty AWESOME and then we played played played in the fountains, The kiddos got drenched, especially when Cami eventually fell in   one.  Good thing I had some extra clothes and bought a few more while I was there!
When tried to dry off in the sun, but eventually we just had to wander back to the car and change into some dry clothes for dinner at the Golden Corral, a Potts family favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, we will never enjoy the restaurant the same after this trip where Josh has the most horrendous bowl explosion and just had to be carried at a distance out of the restaurant to grandma and grandpa's hotel luckily close by where we could shower him down.  Oh kids they never stop being a supper fun adventure. Oh well, we still loved the time we had with Grandma+pa Potts and look forward to their visits every year!

Bring Me Out to the Ball Game

In the Middle of May Grandma Fergy hosted yet another way cute party for all the grand-kiddos. This party was an All American baseball themed fiesta.
She of course had tons of cute table displays and food anything you would normally find at a baseball game  including pizza, soft pretzels, popcorn candy, chips hot-dogs, dipping dots, cotton candy, peanuts and even cute sugar cookies decorated to look like baseballs.
All the cousins had fun playing with each other as always. Unfortunately, Phoebe was only at this party for about 5 mins before her daddy picked her up to go to another fiends doggie salon birthday party.
Grandma started the games by passing out out baseball hats to all the kids so they could get in the baseball mood. For the most part Sophie didn't like her hat unlike the twins which LOVED them.
For most of the party Sophie didn't care to participate in any games , but was just content to lay on my lap and suck her thumb.
Grandma also gave all the kiddos their own bats and ball to play with which at time has just meant each of my kiddos just has their own beating club.
This was a super cute Fergy Grandma party that once again all the kiddos loved going and playing all the games in!

So Far Not SOO Terrible Two

I had to take one more picture of my baby Sophie right before she turned two yrs old, so here is my  baby the last night she was 1yr old.
The next morning Sophie, and the other kiddos, where soo excited to wake up and see all the fun presents on the counter waiting to be opened.
Sophie was really NOT thrilled with any kind of birthday hat we tried to have her wear.
She was trilled by all the fun things she got for her birthday and immediately wanted to play and read everything she got before she would open the next gift, so the whole process took a REALLY long time.
The rest if the kiddos were thrilled with all the hats and was happy Sophie didn't want to wear one so they all could instead.
Since Sophie's birthday was on a Sunday I had planned for many weeks that Sophie would wear the birthday dress that Phoebe and Cami got for their 3rd and 1st birthday's respectively.
When we got home we took naps and made a DELICIOUS Cino de Mayo dinner, the best smothered burritos ever!!! Everything, but the tortillas were made from scratch. Grandma/pa Fergy and Aunts and Uncles then also dropped in for yumm-o ice cream and cupcakes and of course open a few other  gifts.
When it came time to Sing Happy Birthday Sophie was thoroughly bothered by the fact that we put burning candles on her cupcake and really wanted little to do with the thing, until the hot was gone.
This little girl has continued to be the easiest child ever! she lives to just observe and play by herself, with the stroller and baby dolls. She does have an ear piercing scream if she thinks her toy are being taken by siblings or otherwise being wronged in any way. she is content to left me comb and play with her hair for long periods which is something her sisters would NEVER let me do. she continues to be a good eater. Sophie is one of my bigger kiddos, but even at that for girls she is at 50% for height and 10% for weight. She loves to snuggle and we love snuggling with all her loving squishy self!
