Get Me to the Church On Time

The celebration for Megan's wedding started lat Tuesday when we all went and got pedicures at USA Nails (I recommend you never go there). My stubby purple glitter toes are easy to find in this picture, they are the only ones not French tipped
The night before the wedding most of the family gathered together to help setup for the reception that took place in the Fergy backyard.  Phoebe got to spend the evening playing princess with her friend Cassy while the twiners came with us and crawled around in the backyard, until we put them in mom's new, never been used yet, fire pit.  It was the uncles/daddies idea because they thought it was funny. Don't worry, they only sat in their for the duration of this picture, then I went and retrieved them.  After setting up it was time to head home and prepare for the next day, which included putting Phoebes hair in curlers for the night.
On Saturday Meggie and Blake got married in the SLC Temple at 9:40am. The same sealer as Ashley and Luis had performed the ceremony. Afterwards it was time to head out for TONS of pictures.  Here is my little "Shirley Temple" with the Megan the beautiful bride and with her uncle Dennis.  She refused to take off her "sunny eyes" aka sunglasses because it was too bright for her outside.  As for the twins, they had to be woken up for picture time and were still a bit groggy, so Daddy and uncle Luis carried them around  for pictures.
I thought these two little girls, Phoebe and cousin Emma, walking hand in hand with curly hair was really cute.
Here are the cute newlyweds posing for their pictures on the stairs of the temple.
The luncheon was in a beautiful reception hall called the Canterbury Place.  It is a redesigned old LDS church house that now caters to weddings and parties.  It was really pretty inside and this picture doesn't nearly do it any justice.
Here are a few snapshots of the backyard ready for the reception before ny of the guess arrived.  Megan's colors were yellow and black and her flowers were Calla Lilies which really made for a beautiful and elegant look.  Her "cake" wasn't a ckae at all it was a large Rice Krispy treat which was beautily decorated.

Right as the photographer arrived it began to downpour, so we had to pose in the front yard under the big redwood tree.  Luckily, the rain only lasted for about 15 minutes then the sun came out and it was beautiful again, so we could move outback and resume pictures as large groups where we had originally planned to take them.
Here are all the Fergy clan dressed up and looking beautiful in their yellow and black.  Below is Grandma&pa Fergy with all 11 of their grandchildren & a picture of Phoebe insisting on carrying Meggie's train around for her.
Once the reception started and after a brief nap here is how the twins spent most of their time, sitting on cousin Afton's blanket playing. Cami didn't even try to crawl around that much because she hates attempting to do it in dress. As the evening wound down Megan and Blake cut their Krispy cake and then Megan threw her bouquet while Blake threw the guarder. After that the couple said a few short words thanking all who came and then quickly changed and then were off in their stinky decorated car.
After they left it was time to quickly clean up and head home ourselves. All the kids were great troopers, it had been a very long day from 8:30am-10:00pm on the go with no naps. Packing up to go home, Phoebe insisted she still wasn't tired, but after 2 second in the car on the way home she was asleep.  She was in fact so far gone, we were able to change her into her pjs with her barley even stirring. Everyone had really enjoyed themselves and partied themselves right out.

Packin' in the Fun in the beginning of August

On no now we are in trouble! Both the twiners are crawling and this little girl now can stand and has tries to master the art of stair climbing whenever we forgot  to put the chair down. Unfortunately, she even has experienced some stair falling too.
Since Cami is instantiate on growing and not staying permanently small like her older sister, I had to try to get  a cute picture of these two in their matching dress since they are my favorite and Cami is about to grow out of hers.  I couldn't get both to cooperate at the same time so here is the happy medium of them both.
Last Monday, our complex had a big BBQ. We met at our new playground/basketball court and had tons of great food. We also had the mayor, the police department with sidekick crash dummies and the fire department who gave tours of heir truck, if you came to see the truck you also got a sticker which Phoebe was sure to cash in on.
Last week our neighbor lent us their pool which excited Phoebe to no end. She loved the pool and wanted to spend all day in it and also lay down nap in it too. She went between the pool and chalk drawing all morning.  Phoebe prefers to draw with the chalk when it is wet, I guess that it draws with more vibrate color then. The next day as I filled the pool up in the morning so the water would be warm at noon Phoebe was too impatient to wait and she went right outside and got climbed in in all of her clothes. She then came back inside to show me as if it was something I would be happy with, which brings us full circle to why we no longer own a pool.
Back in April when grandpa/ma Potts came to visit they brought Phoebe a sunflower kit to grow herself. The seeds in the pot never grew because Phoebe wouldn't leave them alone, but 3 sunflowers of the sunflowers hat we planed in the yard are now beginning to bloom. All three are now in bloom, but the picture below is one of the first days that  the first one opened up...my mom and I laugh that these sunflowers grew to be about 4 ft tall and yet they cam in the smallest 1 in clay pot to plant them in.
