As is our Fergy tradition the wekend before Halloween we gather the whole Fergy clan for a Fergy Family Trunk or Treat. This year we had it on a Sat afternoon, which was a first, but we had the MOST perfect day for it and were able to eat and play outside the whole time. Our family, as is usually the case, showed up fashionably late so I missed pics of the rest of the families all together. As for our family I was a cowgirl and Sophie was an Indian, Josh was the Shark and Cory was Shark attacked. Phoebe was a peacock and Cami was Strawberry shortcake.
Here are some close ups of my cuties and the costumes I made or put together for them this year.
As we do every year we made grandmas famous witches brew which the kids all took turn stirring, unfortunately we later discovered they were all too short to actually stir any of the sugar at the bottiom in to dissolve so it wasn't as sweet tasting as in years past.
The food was plentiful and I didn't take pics of any of the SEVEN kids of homemade soup grandma Fergy made.
After filling up on the good stuff all the kids got to adopted new teddy bears donated by Cory's aunt Carolyn. All of them were used and some were really " special" looking, but after through washing my kiddos loved those little bears more than anything else nice I buy them.
With their new bear in tow the kiddos went around the yard trick or treating all the different fergy families.
Since it was such as nice day we all stayed and played with all the fun Fall leaves, I hope to have a fun yard with lots of leaves for the kids to play in one day.
On a last note I did get a few pics of the other cute costumes, like Julie's Ray (firefly)costume from The Princess Frog family these they did and Megan, Dave, & Blake's Duck Dynasty tribute.
As always this is one thing I get excited about months in advance and love; I can't wait to see all the fun costumes next year!
