As of yesterday, June 6th, it has officially been 10 years since I joined the LDS church. Back then I was only 19 and a freshman in college who still had an undeclared major. It was that year that I met some of my closet friends. Below is a picture of me and one of my best friends Joshua Alder (remember this name), aka "Joshie", who baptized me. My baptismal day, in many ways, was a total flop. To name a few of the mishaps we arrived at the church to find all but one locked clothes closets, which is why we are wearing awful too tight or too large 70's polyester whites, then later I was nearly drowned in the font and re emerged only to learn we had to redo it. At the end of the day, I guess, all that mattered was I was baptized and was very excited to be the newest member of the Eugene 8th Ward. Looking back I can't believe all the different opportunities that have opened up to me because of my membership in the church. I served a mission in Switzerland, been an institute instructor at the UofO, held numerous callings and even met my husband while being a stage manager for the tri-stake Single Ward's musical of The Garden.
It is with this, that we are VERY excited to announce that we will be having a little boy named Joshua David Ferguson, but I will most likely always call him Joshie.
As of yet, both of the twins are doing great, but only one was willing to cooperate for the last ultrasound. The other, as you can see in the picture below, did not want to roll off their side. This Thursday we have another ultrasound where we will hopefully know if we have 2 brothers or a brother and a sister for lil' Phoebs.

I hate when I leave messages and Jacob is signed it. Anyway, How exciting. I can't believe that it has been ten years. That's crazy. Time sure does go by fast. Congrats on the little boy and we are excited to hear what the other little one is.
Hooray! Now Josh can stop saying that, for all the supposed popularity of his name, he doesn't actually know anyone named Joshua.
I give this post 2 thumbs up. One for the news of your babies and another one for the picture of Josh looking like Elvis.
This made me tear up a little bit! That could just be because I am sleep deprived, but also, I am so happy for you both.
